Summer’s Here is Sam Fletcher’s debut EP. The culmination of two years of songwriting and self discovery, this release is a selection of Sam’s favourite original songs, inspired by adventure, nature, the surf, travelling and other life experiences. Sam’s folk-rock fusion and youthful energy will evoke summertime memories of salt and sand, echoing a subtle nostalgic nod to youth cultures of yesteryear.
The title track of the EP, “Summer’s Here”, is a vibrant indie/pop-rock tune with distinctive ‘surf’ vibes, and lyrics that kindle an oceanic feeling of connectedness to the environment and the wonders of nature. Sam wrote the song about the beach and all things summer, with an underlying message of enjoying life.
