On The Road - Song Preview

On the road - press release

South Coast NSW based solo artist Sam Fletcher will be debuting a new single “On The Road” Wednesday 4th September. The song will be available online via Spotify, iTunes and other streaming outlets.

“On The Road” is a classic rock powerhouse with modern flair. Written while camped on the banks of the ancient Finke River, the song is a testimony to Sam’s adventure around Oz in a clapped-out caravan and failing car. With fresh indie vibes and a hint of Australiana you can almost feel the landscapes traveled to inspire this track.

Composed by Sam, the song features three main rhythm guitar parts played by Galen, Sam and Russell Fletcher, providing a driving harmonic canvas for Sam’s story-telling vocals and wailing guitar solo. Kobi Briggs’ drumming keeps it steady while adding considerable elegance with his lively style; and Russell plays a bass line, fattening the sound to the max.
